The Trustees realize that, in many cases, prospective team and league officials do not have the resources to develop a formal proposal. For this reason, we encourage you to submit your application online.
Once this form below is completed, please send an email to Trustees@friendsofbaseball.org with key organizational documents attached. This should include: a list of board of directors with contact information, organizational operating budgets, a line item budget for the project, and other pertinent information such as project estimates, other forms of assistance and volunteer support secured for your project.

Resource Support Application
The Trustees realize that in many cases prospective team and league officials do not have the resources to develop a formal proposal. For this reason, we ask that your organization send us your request for assistance in an informal written letter with brief project outline, or by completing the online assistance request noted below. Information to be included:
In the letter:
- The name of the youth baseball team, league or organization.
- Lead contact individual with email address.
- A list and contact information for each of your board members.
- Please send a confirming email with your grant application.
- Your stated and implemented sportsmanship goals and objectives as an organization must be included.
- Information relating to your organization, its membership, age and overall objectives. A bit of a history would be helpful.
- Any detailed information relating to specific financial hardships, if applicable. Are there individuals who are not able to participate for lack of funding or individual equipment? What percent of your players (school district) qualify for free or reduced price lunch? Priority will be established for financially challenged and at-risk organizations.
- Applicant organizations should provide affiliation information relating to their association with accredited baseball organizations.
In the Project Outline:
- Details of specific need and total expense of meeting the organization’s objective. This should include what form of partnership funding or in-kind resources you will provide to meet your goals. Please be specific.
- Explain if your organization plans to assist other baseball related groups to meet their needs for information, fund raising, and contacts to further their dreams in the future.
- Provide a detailed budget and outline for meeting your full objective.
- Include full details of aid that you have currently secured in reaching this objective.
- State the level of volunteer support for your project, if applicable.
- What is the time frame required to meet your objectives?
- A list of prior objectives met by your organization, if applicable.
